Day 2&3

So I missed a day, because I went home overnight for my younger sister's birthday!  I had a great time!  So both days...Amazing!  I feel great, have more energy, and feel as if a cloud that's been hovering my head is finally lifted!  Mmmm... my mom made these delicious raw truffles for my sister's b-day that were absolutely divine!  I need to get the recipe from her.  I've also been reading this great book about sprouting by Ann Wigmore.  I have learned so much!  I'm going out of town for a few days, but when I get back, I will be starting some new sprouts.  Watch for those new postings :)  Other than that, I love life right now!

Day 1

So far so good!  This morning I woke up at seven and went running for 1.95 miles (almost 2) at least that's what my iPod said ;).  I had half of a cantaloupe, and a banana for breakfast, and then have just kind of been snacking on veggies, fruit, nuts, and water all day while I've worked on school work.  I'm hoping that either this week or next week I can go grocery shopping and buy more of the food I need.  I've eaten pretty much completely raw lately, but also had some other "fillers".  Now that I'm going completely raw, living food there's a couple of things I need to get.  I would REALLY like to buy a 1. Champion Juicer 2. Vitamix 3. Food Processor 4. Excalibur Dehydrator, but I'm not sure how much $ I want to spend right now, since I am also going to school.  I think the next couple of days I'm going to lay out some type of budget to set aside the money for those things.  I really need to get at least some of them if I'm going to be doing this, and I figure it's a great investment!  Well, I have class so I need to head.  Until tomorrow!

Planting~*

I decided to start this blog so I can follow my ups and downs at the beginning of a new journey.  I want to begin down a new path.  Tomorrow I will be starting day 1 on a raw, living, vegan food journey.  I will be posting each and every day my feelings, thoughts, hopes, disappointments, success, recipes, achievements, etc. for 100 days.  Enjoy!
